Gracie, full sister to both Topper and Can Can, went to live with my friend, Kim Green, in Florida as a puppy.  In June of 2012, she came back to SD to live with me, and she slid right in like she had never left!  I swear, I truly believe her mother, Mink, remembered her immediately and vice versa.  Gracie is so easy going, so happy go lucky, so eager to please - she is just a sweetheart in every way.   She love, love, loves to play and is always the instigator of play amongst the gang which can then get to be pretty rough and wild.  They play like only Ridgebacks can!!!  Gracie's name fits her - she is tall and lean and very graceful.  Like all of her relatives, I am sure she will make a terrific obedience and therapy dog which is what is next on the agenda for her.  Gracie was never shown in conformation, but I am positive that she would have become an AKC Champion as she is very pretty and has very correct structure.  
 
In 2014, we retired Gracie for a life of leisure.  Now she has her own spot in the horse trailer and makes the circuit where she is the best Ridgeback ambassador ever!!  Her lasting legacy is our beautiful Trinity, "Midge" from the Barbie Doll litter.   Gracie's other contribution is one of my forever heart dogs, little Miss Tutti now Echo, who was born with a cleft palate.  She never, ever quit through all her surgeries, and showed me what courage and grace really, truly is.
